Description
BYD 5Kwh 48V LV Flex Lite Lithium ion battery box-LFP is a premium battery for use with an external inverter rated 48V. It has an inbuilt BMS system that protects the battery against over charging, over discharging, short circuit, over temperature and other adverse conditions which are beyond the battery operation specifications. This battery can be used both in domestic and industrial application because of its large capacity i.e 320Kwh.
The battery is rated 5Kwh and is scalable up to 320Kwh through parrallel connection. Its currently the most preferred lithium battery in Kenya due to its long warranty i.e 10 YEARS and longer service life of up to 20 YEARS. The battery price is also affordable and thus can be afforded by most users. No wonder when you randomly walk into a Kenyan home being powered by solar, chances of finding a BYD battery from a scale of 1-10 is 7. The battery requires an external BMU unit for every cluster that helps manage the individual battery in a cluster and communicate effectively to the Master inverter.
